About Sunburst Corvette Club The Sunburst Corvette Club is a not for profit car club based in Crystal Lake, IL founded in 1977. Our main goal is for members to get the most enjoyment out of Corvette ownership through sharing and participating in events with other Corvette enthusiasts. Sunburst attracts members from the Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin areas. Our club hovers around 150 members annually. All generations of Corvettes are represented by our membership. Throughout the year, Sunburst sponsors a wide range of club events from week-long road trips to local cruise nights. A large portion of the proceeds of those events are donated to local charities. One look at our events listing and you'll see that we certainly have something for everyone's interests. Sunburst Corvette Club is a member of the National Council of Corvette Clubs (NCCC -- MW-277 ) and, as such, each of our members are NCCC Members. NCCC clubs offer a wide range of club events and encourage members to participate in other clubs' events. Participation and competition points are awarded and tracked by NCCC. It's just another way to expand our friendship and share the enjoyment of our Corvettes. So, why not come to one of our meetings and see who we are and what we're about? We meet at Galati's Hideaway in Cary, IL on the first Thursday of the month (except January). Sunburst Corvette Club Car Show The Sunburst Corvette Club car show will take place September 13th, 2026. Although you'll see many Corvettes at this show, it is open to ALL makes and ALL models. This show is held in partnership with Martin Chevrolet in Crystal Lake, IL which opens their dealer lot up to hundreds of Corvettes and other highly polished and spectacular automobiles! The show runs from 10AM to 2PM including a multiple trophy presentation. Food and beverages are available for purchase from a local food trucks located at the show. We have a DJ throughout the event.
