We are pleased to hear that you have an interest in considering Sunburst
Corvette Club as an advertising opportunity for your business. We would like to
tell you about Sunburst Corvette Club, and how sponsoring the Club can be a
cost-effective form of promoting your company.
Sunburst Corvette Club has been part of the Crystal Lake and McHenry County
Communities for over 25 years. The Club operates as a non-profit organization,
with funding primarily from two sources, membership dues and sponsorship. With
the exception of a small operating expense, a significant portion of the annual
revenue is donated to various charities in the McHenry County area. Some
examples of charities supported over the years include:
McHenry County “Shop With a Cop”
American Diabetes Society
Salvation Army “Adopt a Family”
American Cancer Society
Marklund Foundation
Pioneer Center
Toys for Tots
McHenry County Morning Glories
Habitat for Humanity
Illinois Chapter of the Spina Bifida Association of America
There are many other worthy organizations that have been supported financially
and through volunteered time. Involvement with local charities and community
events is a major goal for our Club.
There are 150 members (and growing) in Sunburst Corvette Club, and we all
share the common interest of enjoying our cars. The Club is “social” with a very
active group of car enthusiasts.
Regular events are planned including:
Monthly Membership Meetings
Car Shows
Cruise Events
Rallyes
Parades
Weekend Trips (Spring Drive-Out, Fall Color Run, etc)
Sponsor Events (Cruise of the Month)
Competition Events (Low Speed Racing)
In exchange for your annual sponsor dues, your business ad
will appear in the monthly newsletter and you will also have your ad posted on this website with a link to your business website. You will receive a printed copy of the newsletter each month. Your
business name will be posted on our sponsor board, which is displayed at Club
events. Our membership is also encouraged to support our sponsors
