Sunburst Corvette Club Supports Local Charities

Sunburst has a rich history of supporting local charities with the proceeds of our fundraisers like our annual Car Show. Since Sunburst’s incorporation is as a not-for-profit organization, excess funds in our treasury are donated to local charities. Annually, Sunburst members have an opportunity to nominate a charity of their choice to be a recipient of these excess funds.

In 2007, Sunburst made significant contributions to the following organizations:

	Salvation Army - Adopt a Family and Back to School Programs
	Heart of a Marine Foundation
	The Marine Toys for Tots Foundation
	A Safe Place - Crisis Center
	Open Heart Magic

Members also participated in two events held at Shriner’s Children’s Hospital in Chicago.
