ABOUT SUNBURST CORVETTE CLUB The Sunburst Corvette Club is a not for profit car club, located in Crystal Lake, Illinois. Our main goal is for our members to get the most enjoyment out of Corvette ownership through sharing and participating in events with other Corvette enthusiasts. At the end of the 2007 season our membership numbers reached 150. All generations of Corvettes are represented by our membership. Throughout the year Sunburst sponsors a wide range of Club events from week-long road trips to local cruise nights. One look at our events listing and you’ll see that we certainly have something for everyone’s interests. In recent years we’ve sponsored the following activities: Road Trips or Drive Outs – Spring trips to Hannibal Mo., Summer Trips to the Black Hills, and our annual Fall Color Run to LaCrosse WI. Annual Car Show – Concours and Peoples Choice judging takes place at our primary fund raiser of the year. Last year we had of 60 participants. Annual Fun Rally and Poker Run – These events challenge your thinking skills and navigation abilities, usually in southern Wisconsin and end with a fun dinner at some local restaurant. Club presence at Chevy/Vette Fest and Bloomington Gold. Club participation at local “Cruise Nights” “Off Season” parties to keep Club members together and talking about our Vettes. You’ll get a good idea of the last year’s Club activities by checking our Picture Gallery on this website. If you think we’re having fun, YOU’RE RIGHT! Sunburst Corvette Club is a member of the National Council of Corvette Clubs (NCCC) and as such each of our members are NCCC members. NCCC clubs offer a wide range of club events and encourage members to participate in other clubs’ events. Participation and competition points are awarded and tracked by NCCC. It’s just another way to expand our friendships and share the enjoyment of our Corvettes. So why not come to one of our meetings and see who we are and what we’re about? We meet at the Holiday Inn in Crystal Lake (Three Oaks Rd & Rte. 31) on the first Thursday of the month. We’re positive that membership in the Sunburst Corvette Club is sure fire way have even more fun being a Corvette owner.
